A New Year somatic workshop exploring body, land and belonging, Cork City, Ireland

At the beginning of a new year, we often look towards what we want to change or become. This workshop offers another starting point: slowing down, returning to the body, reconnecting with the land, and listening for what is already here and what might want to emerge.

Arriving into Presence

Arriving into the new year

Through somatic practice, movement, stillness and reflection, we’ll explore our relationship with ourselves, the places we come from, and our sense of belonging.

What we’ll explore

Arriving: slowing down and noticing your breath, your body and the support beneath you.

Receiving: listening for what feels nourishing and allowing space to settle.

Deepening: gentle movement and a quieter inward practice, followed by rest and reflection.

No previous experience of meditation or somatic work is needed. You are welcome to take part at your own pace.
